GTS is a major manufacturer of corn heads and draper heads based out of Brazil that has recently decided to enter the US market. They manufacture corn and draper heads that are very durable, simple, and easy to service. They are dominant in South America.
The lightest on the market, with the best fit and finish. GTS has been building aluminum heads for 20+ years and manufacture around 2.000 heads/year. There is a 30% + weight savings with their corn heads, reducing soil compaction and lowering the stress on the combine. This weight saving also allows the height control system to be more responsive!
Universal mounting plate & color neutral to look nice with any brand!
With a slight exchange of few items on the faceplate, the header can be switched between most combines brands and models. For example, you can switch between a CIH, Claas, or JD combine in about 30 minutes using components that come with the head. You are not locked into a specific combine brand when buying or selling.
Double flighted cross auger giving it 4 unloading points at the throat for increased capacity.
5 speed adjustments for both the auger and the row unit gearboxes, allowing independent speed changes to match crop needs.
Time proven snapping rolls.
The snapping rolls are built with a proven design, using 6 machined knifes for reliable performance in multiple crop conditions. There is only 1 zerk/roll which need greased only every 50 hours of operation. Other rolls are available for specific needs.
Easily adjustable header & snout angle adjustment.
Equipped with 5-position angle adjustment at the throat. This allows you to change the pitch of the head in about 5 minutes to meet varying needs/down corn/different combines/etc. In addition, the snout angles can be adjusted quickly and easily, allowing a closer harvest to the ground, ensuring more productivity and reducing the loss of ears. If a snout is damaged, they are extremely quick and easy to replace using only a couple bolts to attach.
Adjustable tapered deck/stripper plates to reduce butt shelling.
Hydraulic OR electric available at the same price.
Due to the precise ability of electric actuators to always go to the exact same setting every time, 90% choose to go with the electric option, but hydraulic is available at no additional charge.
